Our goal is to come alongside your family and support your child’s communication in the moments that matter most, during everyday routines and activities.
For your convenience, we provide services in your home, at your child’s school, or in other natural, community-based settings that best support your child’s success.
Our Services

Receptive Language
Receptive language is a child’s ability to understand the words, sentences, and instructions. It helps them make sense of stories, follow directions, and respond appropriately in conversations. Strong receptive language skills are the foundation for effective communication and learning.
Pragmatic Language
Skills for using language in social situations, such as understanding conversation flow, tone, and nonverbal signals, to communicate appropriately with others.
Virtual Services
We offer services through our telehealth platform, including virtual parent coaching. These one-on-one sessions are ideal for parents who aren’t ready for formal therapy but want guidance to support their child’s communication. Coaching focuses on your questions and provides practical strategies for home. Sessions can be single or recurring, and you’ll receive a personalized home program with tips and activities to help your child reach key milestones.
Expressive Language
Expressive language is a child’s ability to use words, sentences, and gestures to share their thoughts, ideas, and feelings. It includes speaking, writing, and using other forms of communication to make themselves understood. Strong expressive language skills help children communicate confidently and connect with others.
Articulation Disorders
Articulation is the ability to produce speech sounds correctly, ensuring children can express themselves clearly and be understood in everyday communication.
Payment Options
Barton Creek Speech Therapy is a private-pay practice. All services are paid at the time of service, as we are not in-network with any insurance providers. We gladly accept all major credit cards and Health Savings Accounts (HSAs).
While we do not bill insurance directly, speech therapy services may be eligible for reimbursement through your out-of-network benefits. We encourage you to contact your insurance company for details. Upon request, we will provide a superbill—an itemized statement of services rendered, so you can submit it to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.
